I heard so much about them and see their films and TV shows. I have always been intrigued They are superstitious people, and I find it interesting how they still have these beliefs despite living in such a modern world For example, I have an online Mexican friend who taught me a few superstitions that only Mexicans will understand, such as they can’ t make tamales when they get angry or it won t be fluffy Or that a child should pass under your leg in the opposite direction if they passed under it before or else they won t grow to their full height. I take after my mother and she does’n t believe these at all, still I m really interested in their superstitions I also love how they celebrate several important dates, such as the Day of the Dead I think they have the same daily activity with us, but how they see things are different We re more idealistic and realistic, and they are more passionate I guess that s why they are completely different from us

For my first job, I had to wait tables at a local restaurant I was fresh out of high school back then, and I started working during the entire summer leading to my first year at college The owner was a good friend of our family, so she let me work for a couple of months or so I save some money for my daily allowance when I enter university She also needed help since one of her employees took off without saying a word, so they were short on staff Anyway, it was a nice and decent sized American style restaurant that she and her American husband has built It was a hit in our place, and lots of students go there I actually used to go there a lot too since I love their burgers When I was working, part of the benefits was that I had free lunch every day, and I absolutely loved it I get to eat as much burger and fries as I could Plus, the work was actually pretty easy for me I just took orders, bring the customers their food, and clean the tables Luckily almost every customer was mild mannered so I enjoyed it.

I haven’t been to this place yet, but I often see pictures of it I think the colors in every image is breathtaking I’m talking about the spice markets in Dubai and India The photos are always so vibrant because of the colors of the spices There are shades of browns, yellows, oranges, and red I think the color palette falls under warm tones But, I did see other spice market images with other colors such as greens,purples, and blues along with the usual brown and orange shades I really wish I can come by these places as I’d love to see the colors themselves I’d also love to see what common spices people are selling and what the most popular is among buyers I think the activity there is similar to any other market, but I want to experience it anyway I want to know how the place smells with all the mixtures of the spices and how vibrant the colors are And I think that what makes them unique instead of a typical market that seems dull It’s not really the best subject for photos, yet spice markets are colorful and look so alive They make amazing images

Yes, I’m fond of going to museums. I’d rather visit a museum than go to the mall or the beach. I have never been that good in art. I can’t paint or draw. But I am proud to say that I do take good photos, and I believe that’s still art. The headteacher in my high school saw my

potential and made me join a contest. If it wasn’t for her, I wouldn’t even appreciate my talent. Although I have to admit, I have to brush up my camera skills since I haven’t taken photos in so long. Anyway, I have only been to a few museums–just local ones. Although it is my dream to visit Louvre in Paris and Guggenheim in Spain. They have amazing artworks done by amazing artists. I’m mostly a fan of abstract and surrealist paintings. Among my favorite artists were Pablo Picasso and Salvador Dali. You can look at their paintings and be mesmerized for hours. I do wish I can visit a museum with their artworks. That would be such a dream come true.

One of the paintings that I admire was Girl Before a Mirror, which was painted by

Pablo Picasso–one of my favorite artists of all time. I remember seeing

it on an encyclopedia when I was still a kid. I was instantly drawn by the

colors, and the way it was painted. It wasn’t like the realistic paintings from the Renaissance era. It was almost cartoonish. I’m not so good at explaining painting techniques since I’m not a painter myself, but I can say that the painting is a play on humanity’s vanity–that our

reflections are different from what we perceive ourselves to be. Well, that’s my take on it. If it were true, I can’t help but remember the beauty community online and how so many

influencers brush off their true personalities and create a persona that everyone will love. I’m not generalizing, it has become prevalent and even people in the community itself admit it. I do love makeup myself and think that it’s also a form of art, but I think many have forgotten that. Anyway, I think Girl Before a Mirror is such a special painting not just because it’s one of  Picasso’s most famous works but also because it’s still relevant decades after it has been made.

Yes, I’m fluent in English.　 But besides my native tongue, that’s really it.
I would love to learn another language　though. Anyway, I think I did the right thing in　learning English, first. I can now communicate　with more people, especially online. I can　finally speak for myself without using translation tools online, especially after　 finding out they don’t really do the job well.　 Also, I can also understand more songs from American singers. I’m a huge fan of music, so　finally understanding the lyrics to my favorite　 songs and finding more that speaks to me is　an incredible feeling. I can also watch　Hollywood films now without subtitles. It’s
such a big deal for me because I love movies,　 but I can’t focus on what’s happening in the　film when I’m busy reading the subtitles. So, learning English finally made it easier for me to watch and understand what’s　happening　while knowing what the actors are doing. It’s　kind of a liberating feeling. I didn’t know　learning another language and being fluent in　it can bring such strong emotion.

I would love to learn French. I think it’s such a sophisticated language. I often watch videos online of French people speaking their language, and it
seems fun. I love the accent as well. The way they pronounce the words has a romantic vibe to it. I’d also want to learn it, since me and my best friend want to visit France soon. And we would love to speak with the natives. I think many of them aren’t comfortable in English as
well. I know language shouldn’t be a barrier, but it can be tough to visit a
faraway place without knowing even just a few words in their language.
I’ve already seen an online course that teaches basic French, but I’m still
focusing on perfecting my English, so it’ll have to wait. Plus, I also have a
friend who is learning French as well. She’s already an intermediate
speaker, and she has agreed to teach me in the future. In the meantime, I
bought a ‘How to Learn French’ textbook as well as a French dictionary. I tried pronouncing the words with my friend, and she told me to speak up, but when I did, she started laughing so hard. Turns out I’ve been pronouncing every word wrong. Well, I guess French will be hard to learn, but I’m still willing to try it out.

I have nothing against watching talent shows I’m just not a big fan Although there are some shows that I do love watching, like The Voice or the Got Talent franchises I find those really enjoyable But, I’m not into a lot of them I mean, if you say there’s a new talent show coming soon on TV, I won’t be as interested as others would I’ll just probably wait till the show is on before I can say whether I’ll watch it or not If I do watch talent shows, I normally just watch the audition process Those can be pretty hilarious I love those moments more than the actual competition itself I love auditionees who act up when the judges don’t like them I kind of feel bad for them since they are embarrassing themselves on national television, and will probably go through massive backlash and hate Still, I can’t help but laugh at their reactions I’d also see a lot of potential favorites during the audition process I don’t like the show that much, I’d just watch my favorite’s progress online

I think my most favorite talent show is the Got Talent franchise. There are diverse talents there, and I love the auditions. There are lots of incredibly stunning acts that I can’t help but root for. I also love the show since they have talents in for everyone. It’s not limited to singers or dancers, or solo acts or groups. The participants, both young and old, can join. Even animals can join! It’s a gathering of really amazing talents from around the world.I think it started in Britain, but there are so many Got Talent shows around the world such as in America and Asia. Some countries have acquired the show, but I’m not updated with them unless I see compilations of acts on the internet. Several unforgettable talents came from the franchise. There’s Susan Boyle from Britain’s Got Talent, Shin Lim from America’s Got Talent, and Sacred Riana from Asia’s Got Talent. I think what made the franchise so popular is that it’s a culmination of every talent in the world. People can look up to the acts in the show because of their amazing talent as well as their beautiful stories. I look forward to the next season and can’t wait to see more hilarious and awe inspiring acts.
