We offer five courses for preparation for the EIKEN Grade 2 exam. For the first exam, the Textbook Class is the most standard lesson. Consider taking the Writing Class, Past Exam Class, and Vocabulary Card Class to strengthen your weaker subjects. Please note, it is not necessary to take all lessons. You can decide which ones to take based on your needs. Additionally, you have the option to change courses midway.

We have analyzed the trends of questions and summarized the key points to pass the test on a two-page spread. After explaining the key points on the left page (the class will be conducted in English), you will solve the exercises on the right page together with the instructor. This is a commercially available textbook. During the lesson, the instructor will show you the materials on a shared screen, but we ask that you prepare them yourself as they will be necessary for previewing and reviewing. Since there are exercises for each lesson, we recommend that you preview them in advance. Please contact customer support for inquiries about the materials.
▮ Past Exam Class 【100～150 Lessons】
This is a curriculum that compiles questions from 11 past exams (from the first exam of the 2016 academic year to the second exam of the 2019 academic year) by question format. You can choose to focus on question formats you find challenging (for example: Gap fill passages). In the lessons, you will overcome your weaknesses and acquire answering techniques. We provide the materials here. If you need them for preview and review, please contact your instructor or customer support.
▮ Vocabulary Card Class 【60 lessons】 Sample Material
Our materials include 1030 words in 26 lessons, 541 idioms in 22 lessons, 106 conversational expressions in 5 lessons, and 179 conjunctions in 7 lessons. You will learn the words, idioms, and conversational expressions necessary for the 2nd Grade using ‘Vocabulary Cards’, and will memorize them through example sentences and synonyms. When learning words, always ensure that you can pronounce them correctly with their phonetic symbols. Understanding not only the meanings of words, but also how to use them, will help you to derive words from the context in short sentence rearrangement problems (English composition) and blank filling.

Based on your answers, we will gradually correct and advise while developing the model response.
Even if you haven’t prepared in advance, we will develop a model answer based on your responses with the guidance of the instructor.

Just like in the actual exam, the student will answer ‘reading aloud’, ‘questions about the passage’, ‘questions about the illustration’, and ‘their own opinions’ under the guidance of the instructor. We will make corrections and give advice while developing a model answer speaking task.
