The email will include tasks such as ‘ask a question,’ ‘provide information,’ ‘make a suggestion,’ etc., with three tasks instructed. Your reply must contain responses to all three instructed tasks.

Use the two given words (phrases).

The sentence must match the photo (there’s no need to write a long sentence).

When describing objects, the present tense is fine, but when it comes to people or animals, since it’s an action happening right now, please write in the present continuous tense.”

▮ About ‘Write a sentence based on a picture’ and ‘Respond to a written request’

  • During the lesson, you will respond on the spot to questions provided by the instructor.
  • The instructor will correct your responses. This is the basic flow.
  • Depending on your level, the instructor may also give advice while you create your responses.
  • The exchange of responses will be conducted through the chat box of Skype or ZOOM.

▮ About ‘Write an opinion essay’

  • Pre-study is recommended. It would be good to prepare your response in a Word document or similar before the lesson. (For those who wish to experience the lesson with the same level of tension as the actual test, it is also possible to take the lesson without pre-study.)

▮ ‘Write an opinion essay’ typically concludes with one question in 50 minutes (two sessions).

  • Where possible, it is recommended to take the lesson on the same topic with the same instructor. (Continuity is possible even if the instructor changes.)

▮ In the ‘Respond to a written request’ lesson, you will copy and paste your response into the instructor’s chat box, and the instructor will proceed with corrections and advice.

▮ In the ‘Write an opinion essay’ lesson, you will copy and paste your response into the instructor’s chat box in parts, and the instructor will correct it. The instructor will show each sentence on a shared screen as they make corrections, and finally, provide overall advice on the completed text.

▮ If you do not complete ‘Write an opinion essay’ or similar tasks during the lesson, the instructor will provide you with the partially completed response in a document file (Word or OpenOffice Writer).

▮ Then, you are to complete the response by the next lesson and submit it to the instructor during the lesson time.

▮ In the next lesson, using a shared screen, the instructor will correct the completed text and provide feedback to the student. The lesson will involve correction, advice, and efforts towards completing the response, tailored to the student’s level.
