━━ レッスンの進め方 ━━

▮ 「写真描写問題」「Eメール作成問題」について

  レッスン時間中、講師から提供された問題に対してその場で回答していただきます。
  受講者の回答文は講師が添削します。これが基本的な流れです。
  レベルに合わせて講師がアドバイスを交えつつ、回答文を作成することもあります。
  回答文のやり取りは、SkypeまたはZOOMのチャットボックスを通じて行います。

▮ 「意見を記述する問題」について

  事前学習を推奨します。レッスン前にWordなどのファイルで回答文を作成しておくと
  よいでしょう。 (レッスンを本番同様の緊張感で進めたい方は、事前学習なしで
  レッスンを受けることもできます。)

▮ 「意見を記述する問題」は、標準的に1問を50分(2コマ)で終了します。
  可能な限り、同じ問題(トピック)については同じ講師と受講することをお勧めします。
  (講師が変わった場合でも、引継ぎは可能です。)

▮ 「写真描写問題」「Eメール作成問題」のレッスンでは、回答文を講師のチャットボックスにコピペしていただき、講師が添削・アドバイスをしながら進めていきます。

▮ 「意見を記述する問題」のレッスンでは、回答文を分けて講師のチャットボックスにコピペし、
  講師が添削します。講師は各文を共有画面で見せながら添削を進め、
  最終的に完成文に対して全体のアドバイスを行います。

▮  レッスン中に「意見を記述する問題」などで完成しない場合、途中までの回答文を
  文書ファイル(WordまたはOpenOffice Writer)で受講者に提供します。

▮  続いて、受講者は次回レッスンまでに回答文を完成させ、レッスンの時間に講師に
  提出します。

▮  次回のレッスンでは、共有画面を使い講師が完成文を添削し、受講者にフィードバックを
  提供します。 添削、アドバイス、そして回答文の完成に向けて、受講者のレベルに応じた
  ライティングレッスンを実施します。

「抜き打ちテスト」って英語ではどう言うんでしょうか?


アメリカでは  “pop quiz” といいます。


We do a pop quiz.” 「抜き打ちテストをします」 のように使います。


“pop”=「(音を立てながら)突然出てくる」

「ポップコーン」はとうもろこしがパーンと突然変化した姿なので“popcorn”です。


「quiz」には「クイズ」という意味のほかに、

「小テスト」という意味もあります

特にアメリカでは、小テストを「quiz」といいます。


例えば・・・

We have a quiz today.」 は「小テストをします。」

となります。


ちなみに日本語で言う「テスト」(test)ですが、英語でも同じように使いますが、

ちょっと違った意味でも使われます。
