ネイティブのリアル英語 drop a class （科目をキャンセルする）
いったん履修科目を登録した後に、その登録をキャンセルするとき、
英語で ” drop a class ” と言います。
「Drop a class」は「科目をキャンセルする」または「授業を辞める」という意味です。
主にアメリカの学校システムでよく使われる表現で、
学生が何らかの理由で登録していた授業を取りやめることを指します。
例文：
Due to her busy schedule, Sarah decided to drop a class this semester
to manage her workload more effectively.
サラは忙しいスケジュールのため、この学期に受けている授業の一つを
キャンセルして、仕事量をより効果的に管理することに決めました。
これは一時的または永続的に授業を受けることをやめる場合に使われます。
