英検準1級 Part 2 リスニング Real-Life形式の内容一致選択 5問
放送前の10秒で問題用紙に印刷されたSituationとQuestionを
読み、放送文を聞いて4つの選択肢から正解を選ぶ形式です。
5問出題されます。
Questionは基本的にWhat[ Where / When] ….. should you ～ ? の形で、
「あなた（たち）がすべきこと」を問うものです。
Situation: You are at a neighborhood bookstore and cannot find the book you want. You speak to a clerk. You do not want to pay delivery costs.
Question: What should you do first?
放送パッセージは、日常生活で体験する案内放送や電話の
自動応答メッセージなど、日常生活に即した内容です。
Real-Life 形式の音声で、電話の呼び出し音など、
臨場感あふれる効果音が入ることもあります。
Part3は「状況」と「質問」が問題冊子に書かれているので、
Part1,2ほど冒頭の聞き取りに注力するひつようはありません。
その先の展開を予想しながら、
質問の回答になるところを聞き逃さないようにします。
音声の種類は、さまざ様々な職種の人たちの
諸連絡・説明であることが半数近く、
次いで多いのが留守番電話のメッセージと施設での館内放送です。
放送には、まぎらわしい情報があり、
必要な情報を確実に聞き取るスキルが求められます。
Questionは What, When, Where で特定の情報を尋ねるものがほとんどです
Situation やQuestionで予測した情報に的を絞って聞く必要があります。

▮ 状況と質問の先読み
Part3は、問題ごとに放送前の10秒間、問題冊子を読む時間があります。
この間に受験者は状況文と質問文に目を通さなければなりません。
実際10秒ですべて読むことは易しくはありませんが、
何度も練習し読めるようにしてください。
問題が始まる前に状況文と質問文の先読みをすることが
Part3の攻略ポイントになります。
▮ 選択肢にメモを取る
放送が始まったら、予め頭に刷り込んでおいた選択肢に目を通しながら、
ポイントになりそうなところに〇をつけます。
また、放送内容で大事なことは選択肢の横に書き込むようにしてください。
リスニングの問題は立て続けに放送されるので、書き留めておかないと、
忘れたり、他の問題と混同したりしますのでメモは大事です。

You have 10 seconds to read the situation and Question No. 25.
It’s possible to order from our website and have the book delivered to your home. If you don’t want to pay delivery costs, you can ask our staff at the Customer Service Desk to order one for you. They will then fill out a request form for you and notify you once the book arrives, so they’ll need a number where you can easily be reached. If we already have the book in our central warehouse, you should be able to pick it up in a day or two. Otherwise, it’s likely to take a week.
