副詞の役割は動詞を説明することです。行動やどのように何かをしたかを教えてくれます。
副詞は動詞や形容詞を修飾するだけでなく、別の副詞も修飾することができます。
副詞と形容詞は、どちらも修飾語で、文にさらに詳しい情報を付け加える役割をします。
副詞と形容詞の違いは、修飾できる品詞の違いにあります。
形容詞が修飾できるのは名詞だけになりますが、副詞は名詞以外の品詞を修飾することができます。
動詞+副詞
The car moved slowly.
副詞+形容詞
She looks absolutely beautiful.
副詞+副詞
He played the piano extremely well.

In effect, the amount of greenhouse gas increases.
